October 2024 Privacy PIE. Surveillance Economy: What Your Car Knows About You

Your car tracks where you were, are and will be! Will the whole world know too?

It's simple, but not really. Your car has sensors and comes already equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) that keeps track of your every move. Christina will present at TEC's October Privacy PIE about how data is collected by your own car and how it's used. Plus, for all legal- and political-nerds out there, the presentation will include the latest lawsuits and legislations surrounding data collection of smart cars.

Christina is the founder of TEC. A former print journalist, Christina founded a digital communications company in 2011 that specializes in translating complex policy and technical ideas into clear, accessible language.
